The vaccine against influenza is safe. It cannot spread the flu or any other disease. In fact, viruses or parts of viruses it contains are dead or too weak to breed and cause influenza.

The flu shot usually takes 2 weeks to be fully effective. The protection afforded by the vaccine may vary from one person to another, but it lasts at least 6 months.

Improving Protection with Flu Vaccination

The flu vaccine does not guarantee a 100% protection. This vaccine prevents influenza in about 60% of healthy people when the virus strains contained correspond to circulating strains.

Among people aged 60 or over and people with chronic disease, the vaccine mainly reduces the risk of influenza complications, hospitalization and death.

We have 4 choices of vaccines available against the influenza clinical or business.

Vaccines against FLU are available from October. Schedule your visits as early as September. Contact us.
